The idea of Djooky Music Investment Summit was sparked by Gennadiy Kurochka, CFC Big Ideas Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Djooky — an international music startup working to democratize and decentralize the music industry.
The goal of the Djooky Music Investment Summit was to bring together key players of the music business responsible for drawing investments into the music industry in order to
– discuss traditional and innovative ways for attracting funding;
– raise awareness about monetization tools for beginner artists;
– promote early-stage startups that will change the music industry.
The speakers of the conference were representatives of publishing companies and labels, streaming platforms, distributors of independent music, tech firms, artist management companies, consultancies, as well as music industry veterans, entrepreneurs, and artists.
The Summit’s topics focused on investment and finances in the evolving music ecosystem and the roles of independent artists, streaming platforms, AI, blockchain, new tech solutions, intellectual property rights, etc.
With these ideas in mind, CFC Big Ideas believes the pandemic must become a new boost to discuss and improve the way the music industry is financed and subsidized.
