The concept of the first Global Inclusion Online Forum, which took place on September 3–10, 2020, was developed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially planning for a local offline event on diversity & inclusion, CFC Big Ideas decided to take the initiative to the global level once the pandemic hit the planet.
The project was inspired by Anna Krys, CFC’s Business Development Manager and Head of Diversity & Inclusion, who had brought her expertise in diversity and inclusion from Ireland, where she worked prior to joining CFC for 4 years and implemented several award-winning D&I projects.
With 70+ speakers, 2000+ attendees, 11 panel discussions, startup pitch contest & online expo, and numerous workshops the Global Inclusion Online Forum became a monumental global DEI event of 2020. Following a successful launch, CFC Big Ideas team decided to hold it on an annual basis.
The second edition of the Global Inclusion Online Forum took place on May 20-27, 2021. It brought together 80+ speakers and 3000+ attendees.
