Following a successful Global Inclusion Online Forum 2020, CFC Big Ideas begins a series of regional online events focused on diversity and inclusion within various localities.
One of the series’ first webinars is designed for c-suites, shareholders, and board members from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain who are focused on tapping the full potential of their companies’ workforce. This potential can create new projects, open new markets, and increase client loyalty.
In the GCC, the lion’s share of the workforce is represented by the expatriate population, which heightens the need for employers to consider cultural differences at every level of their organization.
Apart from that, women quite rarely make it to the highest managerial positions of local corporations. While in some cases this limited representation is due to the lack of female talent, in others it can only be explained by the local cultural traditions and stereotypes among top managers and board members.
