As a member of the board of the Ukrainian-British City Club, CFC Consulting partner Vasyl Myroshnychenko made opening remarks at the sixth annual reception of the organization held at the Houses of Parliament in London. In his brief speech, Vasyl stressed the importance of diaspora in building relations between the home and host country. UBCC was set up by the active Ukrainian professionals in the City of London, and since that time, has attracted many British companies and individuals, as well as people of other nationalities living in London who have interest in Ukraine. Ukrainian diaspora has tremendous potential to promote Ukraine’s commercial and cultural interests in the UK. The reception was hosted by John Wittingdale, MP, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Ukraine Group. UBCC was set up to foster the development of bilateral UK-Ukraine relations.
