Vasyl Myroshnychenko organized the IX Charity evening event in support of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Kyiv. 365 people attended, donating a total of 6.5 million hryvnia (the equivalent of about 238,000 USD) to support the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU). An additional 2.5 million hryvnia (approximately 91,700 USD) was raised for UCU’s Kyiv Center. Uliana Suprun, Ukraine’s acting Minister of Health, made the keynote speech.
The charity event celebrated completion of UCU’s Seven-Year Development Campaign (2010-2016), which included construction of the College of Patriarch Joseph Blind, multiple academic buildings, and the Church of the Holy Wisdom of God.
