On February 9-10, USAGM supported by CFC Big Ideas organized a workshop on the Ethical use of AI in Journalism in Lagos, Nigeria.
The three-day Ethical Use of AI in Journalism workshop teaches journalists about the benefits and limitations of AI tools in journalism, AI and ML basics, text and image generation, and ethical concerns, AI mistakes, hallucinations, and automation.
The CFC Big Ideas team was responsible for the training budget, reports drafting, communications, training logistics, travel organization for international speakers, and securing venue, catering, and accommodation for out-of-town trainees.
