At the end of November, another continent – Australia – was added to the geography of the “War Up Close” exhibitions.
The first exhibition at the Australian National University was attended by the H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine Vasyl Miroshnychenko, as well as the Ambassadors of Sweden, Argentina, Cyprus, Serbia, and the deputy ambassador of Norway.
The second exhibition of the tour was held at the Parliament House Canberra with the participation of the Leader of the Opposition and Australian senators.
The tour concluded with an exhibition at the University of Sydney, with visitors from Australia, Japan, China, and New Zealand.
The events were supported by the ANU Center for European Studies, the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations, the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
“War Up Close” is an exhibition created in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. The project shows the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine throught 360° panoramic views, videos from drones, and virtual tours.
