The architecture exhibition, “Slovenia:Masters and Architectural Scenes of the XX Century,” took place in Kyiv at the Budynok Mytropolyta museum in the Sofiya Kyivska national park from February 8 to 29, 2012. The exhibition was initiated by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine, Ms. Mayya Martynenko, and was supported by the Slovenian Embassy in Ukraine. CFC Consulting is a chief organizer of the event.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition took place on February 8, 2012. It was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic corps, Slovenian businesses in Ukraine, prominent architects, students, and academic staff of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Thematically, the exhibition was divided into three sections corresponding to the three stages of the development of Slovenian architecture in the XX century. The author of the exhibition was Luka Skansi, a well-known scholar in the field of architecture of European cities and professor at the University of Architecture in Venice (IUAV).
