On the 25th of June, the American Chamber of Commerce held an International Conference tagged, “Private Equity Opportunities in Ukraine to Restart Economic Growth: Role of Banks.” In strategic partnership with CFC Consulting and Deloitte & Touche USC PJSC, this conference brought together over 70 leaders and specialists from key international financial institutions, private equity investors, and large banks to discuss focal problems of debt restructuring, structural changes, and investment in “good companies with loan problems,” as well as search for a joint solution and establish new business contacts for further cooperation.
Mr. Vasyl Myroshnychenko, CFC Consulting partner, stated, “Private equities, banks, and private investors are significant for reforms in Ukraine in this difficult time. A good example for Ukraine will be the economic reforms in Macedonia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina in the mid-’90s and the role of financial players initiated by George Soros.”
