CFC Big Ideas assisted three USAGM Workshops focused on “Solutions Journalism for Reporting Nature Crimes” during September. The first workshop took place in Kuala Lumpur from September 11-13, involving 21 journalists reporting on nature crimes in Malaysia. The second workshop occurred in Jakarta from September 18-20, involving 22 journalists reporting on similar issues in Indonesia. Lastly, in Accra, Ghana, from September 27-29, CFC Big Ideas supported another workshop attended by 21 journalists who were covering nature crimes in Ghana.
CFC Big Ideas team took charge of various aspects, including organizing flights and transportation for participants from different regions and arranging accommodation, securing a venue, and catering services for the workshop. Also, the CFC team was responsible for coordinating speakers and trainers, facilitating field trips for participants, ensuring the event’s visibility by creating photo and video content for social media, overseeing the project’s budget, and drafting a financial report.
In Indonesia and Malaysia, CFC team was physically present and coordinated all current issues on site. |
