On September 22, 2022, USAID hosted a public roundtable discussion called “Ukrainian State-Owned Enterprises in Wartime” as part of its State-Owned Enterprises Reform Activity Program. Participants included leaders of Ukrainian state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
The roundtable served as a platform for key SOE stakeholders to share their experiences on challenges they have been facing due to the war and how they have tackled them. The discussion also helped SOEs better understand what kind of material and technical assistance they need to continue dealing with these challenges.
Speakers included representatives from stakeholders such as NPC UKRENERGO, Naftogaz of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and others.
CFC Big Ideas was responsible for providing event management services such as engaging with media representatives, involving and registering participants, covering technical aspects of the event, as well as preliminary advertising for the discussion.
