CFC Big Ideas recently helped USAGM to host a training workshop for OstWest journalists in Berlin, Germany on June 19-21. Focused on «Digital Tools for Social Media, Fact-Checking and Data Journalism», the workshop sought to provide the OstWest TV Journalists with up-to-date digital tools for social media and share the best practices in short video production for social networks and digital analytics.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ engagement tactics while diversifying their toolkit for effective fact-checking and Data Journalism, in particular to counter russi*n propaganda.
CFC Big Ideas calculated and managed the budget, negotiated contracts with contractors and trainers, communicated with participants and speakers, organized all training and travel logistics, handled all organizational issues on the site, and drafted narrative and financial reports.
