On July 22, CFC Big Ideas Senior Project Manager Oles Dmytrenko spoke the event “Recovery of the economy — labor criteria and self-employment” organized on the basis of the Economic Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Business Council, other state authorities and representatives of business and the expert environment.
Mr. Dmytrenko focused on the necessity of increasing transparency of micro-business with new technologies, as well as the possibilities of automating tax revenues to the state budget from self-employed persons who receive income through digital platforms.
As the result of the discussion, representatives of the Coalition of Digital Platforms were included in the working groups of the Economic Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the aim of developing a comprehensive system reform that should include the issue of digital platforms.
