The CFC Big Ideas team has successfully completed USAGM (United States Agency for Global Media) post-training activities in Indonesia and Malaysia dedicated for reporting on nature crimes in those countries. Ten trainees were provided with stipends to pursue their individual projects, all focused on raising awareness of and addressing nature crimes.
With these activities completed, CFC Big Ideas is now in the process of planning the next set of workshops to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, and a location yet to be confirmed in Malaysia. The upcoming training courses will be focused on Solution Journalism for Reporting Nature Crimes.
