The book “Famous Figures of Ukraine,” sponsored by the Ukrainian Crisis Media center (UCMC), Pictoric agency and “I Gallery,” [GD2] was presented during a press conference in the National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine in Kyiv. This presentation was made by Gennadiy Kurochka, managing partner of CFC Consulting and co-founder of UCMC.
“Famous Figures of Ukraine” promotes Ukrainian history and culture by featuring eminent Ukrainians through the medium of contemporary graphic art. A new look at these outstanding individuals, represented through posters, offers an alternative to potentially cliché descriptions from school textbooks. While the project began as an outdoor exhibition in Lviv, it eventually evolved into a written format.
