In August, the CFC Big Ideas team supported USAGM post-training activities for journalists in Gabon.
USAGM provided five participants with stipends to complete media projects on Corruption in logging, Illegal Logging, Investigation of Mangroves, Climate Change in Libreville, and Overfishing.
CFC Big Ideas took charge of financial management and communication with mentors and participants throughout the process.
Additionally, CFC Big Ideas was granted another contract to deliver three workshops on Mobile Journalism for the USAGM/VOA affiliates in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea, and one workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Ghana.
