Upon completion of the training, journalists gained a better understanding of how to use new media tools and multimedia journalism to communicate effectively with audiences through stories/reports about environmental crimes.
Arranging the workshops, the CFC Big Ideas team successfully executed all the necessary pre-training preparations, such as communicating with the facilitators, experts, and participants, negotiating with local subcontractors and booking a venue to host the event. We took care of all logistics, including organizing travel arrangements for participants from different cities in Malaysia. Since it was a hybrid workshop, the CFC Big Ideas team worked closely with the video crew to ensure a good-quality online broadcast of the round table. The team was also responsible for sourcing visual components for the training and distributing training materials prepared by the instructors.
